8If you’ve checked that Bluetooth is on for your device and your PC, but they’re still not connecting, here are a few more things to check.DesktopDesktop

11aIf you don’t see the Bluetooth button, or you can’t turn it off or on, you likely have an issue with your drivers. 12If turning the Bluetooth device off and on doesn’t work, select the device you’re trying to connect, then Remove deviceTEXT: Select your Bluetooth device, then Remove device

19aIf your Bluetooth icon is missing or inaccessible, or if your device still won’t connect after running the troubleshooter, there may be an issue with your Bluetooth adapter.   This is what makes Bluetooth work on your PC.  TEXT: Your Bluetooth adapter is what makes Bluetooth work on your PC. 20Here’s how to check that your Bluetooth drivers are up to date.   Press the Windows logo key and i to launch Settings, then select Update & SecurityTEXT: Select Update & Security

22aRemember, drivers do not always have obvious names. 28If it doesn’t, the Bluetooth adapter may have not automatically reinstalled.   In Device Manager select Action, then Scan for new hardware changes.   Windows will recognize your Bluetooth adapter and reinstall it.TEXT: If the doesn’t, in Device Manager select Action > Scan for new hardware changes
